A theme worth spending time with
These puzzles use everyday interests rather than a random dictionary: gardening, kitchen craft, nature and travel. Each list has twelve words, with a mix of familiar short entries and longer words to look for. The grid is 14 by 14, so there is room to search without a page full of tiny type.
Choose your search directions
All directions includes horizontal, vertical and diagonal words, both forwards and backwards. Forward directions uses right, down and the two diagonals that move to the right. These settings change the search task; we do not give them an easy or hard grade. Read the instruction line before you begin.
A puzzle you can return to
The seed is a short label that reproduces the same puzzle when the theme and direction settings also match. Use the Generate from seed button after changing those settings. New puzzle chooses a new seed for you. Both the puzzle and its solution carry the seed so printed pages stay together.
