Printable Puzzle Kit is owned by Rob and hosted on Netlify. There are no accounts, newsletters or advertising. Optional Google Analytics loads only after explicit acceptance; you may reject it or withdraw through Privacy settings. A browser preference may remember that choice.
Puzzle controls and downloads
When you generate a puzzle, the calculation runs in your browser. Your seed and settings stay in page memory and are not sent to a puzzle server. A PDF is created on your device when you download it. Closing or reloading the page clears the current settings. Your browser and operating system manage files you save or send to a printer.
Hosting requests
Your browser must contact Netlify to load pages and assets. Hosting involves technical request data such as IP address, requested URL and browser information for delivery and security. We do not promise that hosting creates no logs or specify a retention period we cannot verify. Netlify describes its processing and available privacy contacts in its privacy policy.
Measurement and future changes
The code exposes local event hooks for successful generation, print requests and downloads. Only after analytics acceptance, an allowlisted listener sends those event names and tool type to Google Analytics. Seeds, word lists and puzzle inputs are excluded from those hooks. If tracking or ads are introduced, we will update this notice and implement any required consent before non-essential processing begins.
Contact messages and protection
Submitting the contact form sends the bounded name, email, subject and message to our Netlify function and, when configured, Resend for forwarding to the owner. The receiving address is kept server-side. Hosting request data and a short-lived signed form token help control abuse; the token does not contain your message. Rate limiting and a honeypot reject abusive submissions. We do not send contact fields to analytics or keep a separate website message database. Email copies remain with Resend and the owner’s email provider under their retention and security practices.
Privacy questions
Use Contact and help for privacy questions or requests. If the email service is not yet configured, the form clearly reports its unavailability. Netlify and Resend publish their own processing notices. You can also find privacy-rights and complaint guidance from the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Optional Google Analytics
Choose Accept analytics to allow Google Analytics page views and the three named puzzle actions: generate, print request and download. Reject analytics keeps it off. Privacy settings lets you withdraw, disables further analytics and clears the analytics cookies set for this host. Your choice is stored locally as quiet-grid-analytics-consent-v1. Google may process accepted measurement data internationally under its policies; we do not claim a retention period we have not configured or verified. Contact fields never enter analytics.
