Inside this theme
Find BRIOCHE, CINNAMON, DOUGH, GLAZE, MUFFIN, PASTRY, PROVING, ROLLING, SCONES, VANILLA, YEAST and ZEST. The twelve entries are curated as a small connected collection rather than an unfiltered dictionary list. All use A–Z letters in the grid.
A few words to notice
Proving is the rest that lets yeasted dough rise; in US recipes it is also called proofing. Zest is the outer coloured part of citrus peel. This list mixes ingredients, techniques and finished bakes, without presenting a recipe or food-safety instructions.
Make a fresh sheet
Choose forward directions or all eight directions, then generate the puzzle. Each target appears exactly once as a complete straight line, although words can share letters. New puzzle makes another arrangement of this same list. A different theme changes the vocabulary.
Print and keep the answer
Choose Letter or A4 and download the two-page PDF. The first page is the puzzle; the second is its matching marked solution. Large print is on by default. Print at 100% to keep the stated letter size, and keep the seed with the answer if you make copies for a group.
