Inside this theme
Find MELODY, RHYTHM, HARMONY, OCTAVE, TEMPO, CHORUS, VIOLIN, CLARINET, PIANIST, DUET, CRESCENDO and REHEARSAL. The twelve entries are curated as a small connected collection rather than an unfiltered dictionary list. All use A–Z letters in the grid.
A few words to notice
Crescendo describes a gradual increase in loudness; tempo is the pace. Rhythm can be a useful anchor because it has no usual A, E, I, O or U vowel. The words are music vocabulary, not copied song titles or quotations.
Make a fresh sheet
Choose forward directions or all eight directions, then generate the puzzle. Each target appears exactly once as a complete straight line, although words can share letters. New puzzle makes another arrangement of this same list. A different theme changes the vocabulary.
Print and keep the answer
Choose Letter or A4 and download the two-page PDF. The first page is the puzzle; the second is its matching marked solution. Large print is on by default. Print at 100% to keep the stated letter size, and keep the seed with the answer if you make copies for a group.
